The unit and structure are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel. The unit includes the holding tank, the pumps to return the water to the centrifuge machine, over flow pipes and the electrical control panel.
The system operates in this manner; the fatty water from the Refining centrifuge is pumped to the unit and enters from the rear side of the screen filter. The fatty water passes through a symmetrical drum screen where the large solids are separated from the water. The solids are expelled from the front side of the unit. The filtered water is then recovered in a holding tank under the screen. The water is accumulated and is returned to the Washer centrifuge machine by means of an electrical pump.
